Fabrizio Romano has spoken out on his job in the Joao Felix to Barcelona transfer this summer soon after his exclusive interview with the participant became a large story.
The Portugal international had been battling at Atletico Madrid and also endured a tricky mortgage spell at Chelsea in the second fifty percent of final period right before then moving out on loan yet again this summer with a late go to Barca.
Romano broke the tale about Felix wanting the go to the Nou Camp, but he wanted to make clear that he did not in any way have a ‘role’ to play in obtaining the participant the go.
Writing in today’s exclusive column for CaughtOffside, Romano discussed that he simply just noted on Felix’s favored shift, and that if he hadn’t got the tale, one more journalist would have.

“Joao Felix has commenced perfectly at Barcelona, and some fans have requested me about my ‘role’ in the transfer, but I want to clarify that I actually had unquestionably zero purpose and I never want any job into transfers,” Romano reported.
“I just did my position – acquiring an job interview with Joao was a great scoop but the promotions depend on players, brokers, clubs and not journalists in my feeling. If it hadn’t been me, it would almost certainly have been one more newspaper or journalist to get that job interview.
“If Joao bought the shift to Barca it is mainly because he desired that strongly, and he despatched that apparent message. It is about Joao, not me.”
