Former GOPer Ken Buck explained to Day by day Show host Jon Stewart on Monday that he left Congress simply because he “couldn’t inform the lie” that the 2020 election was stolen. By means of Mediaite:
“I consider the trouble correct now is every person will get their information resources in silos and they just maintain getting reinforced with particular ideas,” Buck told Stewart, prior to recalling, “I went to a neighbor’s residence the working day just after the 2020 election, their flag was upside down.”
“You reside next to the Alitos?!” Stewart interrupted as Buck and the audience laughed.
The previous congressman continued, “Close. I knocked on the door and requested them, ‘Your flag’s upside–” I imagined they created a slip-up!”
After Stewart requested, “Do you miss Congress in any way? Do you feel it was a job left undone for you?” Buck, who retired from Congress in March, replied, “I remaining simply because I could not tell the lie. 2020 election was not stolen. The January six defendants aren’t political prisoners.”
