A person of the founding associates of Kool and the Gang, George “Funky” Brown passed away on Friday from lung most cancers at the age of 74. Brown co-wrote some of the bands largest hits, which includes Women Night and, of class, Celebration.
The band never ever obtained any official teaching and taught tthemselves how to play. Brown described their tunes as “The sound of contentment.” Without a doubt, fifty years later on and Celebration is however the unofficial bash anthem of any content occasion.
