Republicans are now suing Republicans. In this case, filter queen Kari Lake surrendered her suitable to protect herself from Stephen Richer’s defamation lawsuit over her election lies.
The Maricopa County Recorder who presided over the 2022 election, Stephen Richer, filed a defamation claim in opposition to Kari Lake in June, stating that she “continuously and falsely accused” him of resulting in her electoral defeat in the race Democrat Katie Hobbs defeated her.
Lake has requested a jury for the default judgment listening to.
Richer took to Xitter to contact Lake’s ask for a “total and overall surrender on legal responsibility.”

Lake, unsurprisingly for an election denier, blamed the “political elite.” Richer advised her she “will now have a judgment entered, in courtroom, towards you, for lying about our elections and me. It was all B.S.”

The lawsuit alleged that “Richer and his relatives have been the concentrate on of threats of violence, and even dying, and have experienced their life turned upside down” for the reason that of Lake’s “understanding and destructive falsehoods,” according to NBC Information.
